Dr Floyd Gomes (MBBS, FRACGP, MMed)

General Practitioner, Founder and Managing Director

Floyd has been passionate about aged care since being a paperboy talking to many elderly customers who would wait at their letterboxes for the morning news! Eventually, he became a doctor for the love of medicine and for helping people improve their lives. In working as a GP, Floyd saw first-hand the difficulties faced by the elderly living at home and searched for a solution for this, eventually concluding that integrating home and health care was a sensible and synergistic way forward. 

After many years of research, this idea manifests as Mark & Sylvie’s Home Care. 

Hilde Aschehoug (RN)

National Operations Manager

After being a valuable member of the practice nursing team at Atticus Health, Hilde took on the role of Care Manager. In this role, she tries her very best to ensure that all plans consider an entire situation and are very well integrated. Hilde is a committed and caring nurse and a joy to work with.
Leisa McAuliffe (EEN)

Care Partner (Mornington Peninsula, VIC)

Liesa is a mother of three and a nana to four. She has been an EEN since November 2011 and has extensive experience in residential care.  
 
Rebecca Schulz

Care Partner (Bangholme, VIC)

Rebecca is an independent mum to one little human and two furry friends. After many years in hospitality management, she transitioned into healthcare during the height of COVID, beginning her journey as a one-to-one behavioural support worker. Drawn to the values and meaningful connections that home care represents, she discovered her passion and joined Mark and Silvia’s Home Care, where she has grown from a support worker into a more fulfilling and rewarding career.

In her downtime, she trains for running events and enjoys exploring the outdoors with her little one.

Earl Tech

Care Partner (Bangholme, VIC)

Earl is a proud father of three children, deeply committed to both his family and his profession. With a background as a Registered Nurse in aged care, he embraced a new challenge by stepping into the role of Home Care Manager. He is passionate about delivering compassionate, client-focused care and is dedicated to upholding the well-being and dignity of every client.

Outside of work, he finds balance and inspiration in nurturing bonsai trees. This hobby keeps him connected to nature and reminds him of the beauty found in patience, growth, and attention to detail.

Amanda Thornton

Care Partner (Sunshine Coast, QLD)

Amanda is a devoted wife and mother of two, deeply rooted in her family and community. In her spare time, she finds joy in caring for wildlife, reflecting her nurturing nature and love for the natural world. With a strong passion for home care, Amanda is dedicated to helping individuals maintain their independence. 

Her mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality care that allows people to stay in their homes longer, living safely and comfortably. 

Wendy Godfrey
Wendy Vaughan

Care Partner (Moreton Bay, QLD)

Wendy Vaughan has over 20 years of experience in healthcare, starting as an assistant nurse in aged care before earning her Diploma in Nursing. She has worked across residential aged care, community nursing and hospitals, gaining expertise in various clinical areas, including palliative care, paediatrics, mental health, emergency etc.

Wendy’s career spans roles in quality management, safety advisory, and care management, where she finds deep fulfilment in helping people live independently and comfortably at home.

Tegan Wright

Care Partner (Bargara, QLD)

As the Home Care Manager at Mark & Sylvie’s Home Care Bargara, Tegan brings over 15 years of nursing experience across aged care and community settings. A proud wife and mother of two, she is deeply passionate about client advocacy and ensuring every individual receives care that is respectful, personalised, and empowering.

Her leadership style is grounded in compassion and collaboration, with a strong commitment to supporting both clients and care staff to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Cyndi Cao

Care Partner (Hardware Lane Melbourne CBD, VIC)

Cyndi is a nurse who believes good care starts with feeling seen and heard. She serves as the Care Coordinator for the Early Intervention for Healthy Ageing Program at Atticus Health and as a Care Manager with Mark & Sylvie’s Home Care, where she supports individuals and families through thoughtful, coordinated care.
 
With a strong clinical background and a calm, approachable style, she focuses on guiding people through both the medical and human sides of healthcare, always with intention, respect, and collaboration.
Charlie Fleming

Care Partner (Bangholme, VIC)

Charlie is an Enrolled Nurse who has recently stepped into an exciting new role as Care Manager and Community Nurse

Her journey with Mark & Sylvie’s Home Care began as a Support Worker, where I discovered my passion for caring for others and building meaningful relationships within the community. 

When she is not at work, you’ll usually find me out in the bush camping or on a 4WD trip. She enjoy exploring new spots with her Partner and their Golden Retriever Frankie. 

Dr Dudi Spicer

General Practitioner - Aged Care

Dudi graduated from Melbourne University in 2017 and later completed further GP training and a Diploma of Palliative Care.
 
He is passionate about providing genuine patient centred care and supporting quality of life and independence.
 
He has a special interest in Palliative care, Aged Care and Chronic Disease Management.

Bhanuka Dahanayaka

Physiotherapist

Bhanuka Dahanayaka is a passionate physiotherapist with over 12 years of experience in musculoskeletal, neurological, post-surgical, and geriatric rehabilitation. His fascination with the human body and the role of movement in wellbeing inspired him to pursue physiotherapy. 

Bhanuka takes a holistic, patient-centred approach, focusing on active rehabilitation to empower clients through education, tailored exercises, and a gradual return to daily activities. With experience in aged care, home care, and evidence-based therapies, he is dedicated to helping clients regain mobility, independence and quality of life.

Kasun Kondage

Physiotherapist

Kasun is a physiotherapist with 12 years of international experience across Sri Lanka, Oman, and Australia. Specialising in neurological, musculoskeletal, and aged care, he has practiced in Australia since 2021. He utilises evidence-based techniques like manual therapy and dry needling to provide comprehensive clinical care.

Kasun adopts a holistic approach, tailoring treatments to address root causes and individual patient goals. A dedicated lifelong learner, he consistently updates his skills through professional development. Outside of his clinical work, Kasun is family-oriented and enjoys traveling to explore new locations.

Lakshmi Jayalath

Physiotherapist

Lakshmi holds a Masters from La Trobe University and a Bachelors in physiotherapy from the University of Colombo. With over 8 years of experience across public and private sectors, including university, she has worked as a lecturer, physiotherapist, and researcher, publishing 8+ papers in peer-reviewed journals. She joined Robinvale District Health Service in January 2024.

Specialising in musculoskeletal, neurological, and geriatric care, Lakshmi takes a holistic, evidence based approach to treatment. Her techniques include manual therapy, soft tissue manipulation, and exercise prescription, all aimed at supporting recovery and overall wellbeing.

Pauline Eysseric

Occupational Therapist

Pauline is a passionate occupational therapist and Monash University graduate dedicated to helping individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life. Through personalised care, she empowers clients to achieve meaningful progress in their daily routines. Combining problem-solving, creativity, and personal connection, she finds joy in supporting clients as they build confidence and adapt to new challenges. 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going hiking, camping and visiting the beach. 

Jason Ng

Occupational Therapist

Jason is an accredited practising Occupational therapist and Monash University graduate. He was drawn to occupational therapy as he likes helping people do the things that matter most to them. Whether it’s getting dressed, returning to a hobby, or moving safely around the home, he is motivated by the impact that small changes can have in empowering clients and their families. 

He has a strong passion for working with older adults in the community, with a particular focus on home modifications and assistive equipment to support safety and independence. Jason’s approach is person-centred: he keeps things simple, listens actively, and involves clients in decision-making. He takes the time to explain each step clearly and checks in regularly to ensure his clients feel comfortable and supported.

 

Outside of work, Jason enjoys fixing up his project cars, going on road trips, and playing guitar. In addition to English, he also speaks Cantonese and Mandarin.

Sarah Ives

Registered Psychologist & Therapist

Sarah is a registered psychologist and therapist with over 24 years of experience.

She is passionate about providing psychological support to our Home Care clients and NDIS participants. Sarah helps individuals navigate life transitions, embrace their passions and strengths, and find meaning and balance in their lives – all essential elements of mental well-being.

Sarah is accompanied by DeeDee, a gentle and well-trained black Labrador who offers a calming and reassuring presence during sessions. For those uncomfortable around dogs, simply inform reception, and DeeDee will happily wait elsewhere during the appointment.

Hoda Palizian

Psychologist

Hoda is an AHPRA-registered General Psychologist and NDIS-registered Behaviour Support Practitioner with over a decade of experience. Her trauma-informed, person-centred practice supports vulnerable individuals presenting with complex psychosocial needs, neurodivergence, and trauma histories.

Hoda utilises a strong clinical foundation focused on empowerment, safety, and sustainable change. Fluent in English, Farsi, and Kurdish, she provides culturally sensitive support to diverse communities.

Tracy Shaw

Community-Based Social Worker

Tracy is a qualified social worker with over nine years of experience across disability services, child and family support, child protection and aged care. Tracy supports individuals to remain independent, connected and empowered within their communities. 

With a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Tracy brings a person-centred trauma-informed and strengths-based approach to every aspect of practice. Specialising in reablement and holistic care planning, Tracy is committed to supporting clients in achieving their goals and enhancing quality of life. 

Crystal Wong

Dietitian

Crystal is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Monash University graduate, passionate about empowering individuals to live healthier and happier lives through nutrition. With experience in aged care and home care, Crystal provides compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each client’s needs.


Her approach focuses on promoting wellbeing, independence, and quality of life through practical and personalised nutrition strategies. Guided by her love for food and cooking, Crystal strives to make healthy eating both enjoyable and sustainable for every client she supports.

Martin Toomey

Board Chair

As a keen industry advocate and thought leader, Martin Toomey participates in a broad array of industry associations and bodies, including the Chair of Australia Road Transport Suppliers Association Institute and past Vice Chairman Truck Industry Council (TIC). Martin is passionate about sustainable business and believes that great team are the ones that best leverage diversity and inclusion. 

Martin is a significant contributor to the transport industry in Australia, as Director and owner of Transport Industry In Australia. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and The Ethics Centre. 

Margaret Radin

Board Director

Margaret has over 25 years experience working in the community age care field and has served as Holding Manager, Senior Manager and Quality Coordinator. She has experience liaising with government bodies and ensuring the best outcome for clients, with a ‘person centred’ approach. 

Her journey commenced as a 17 year old girl, training to be a nurse in the United Kingdom and after immigrating to Australia, she embarked on a nursing career spanning 30 years.

Board Director

Reynier has been working in public accounting practice since 2007 delivering personal and timely service to a broad range of clients in an extensive array of industries and business enterprises. 

He is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand and a partner in Roseby Rosner & Young Accountants and Advisors.
