Position Overview

Responsibilities

Personalised Care:
– Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
– Provide support with mobility and transfers as needed.
– Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.

Emotional Support:
– Build meaningful relationships with clients through empathetic and compassionate interactions.
– Foster a positive and uplifting environment to enhance the emotional well-being of clients.

Companionship:
– Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote social interaction.
– Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and other social events.

Communication:
– Maintain clear and open communication with clients, their families, and the broader care team.
– Document and report any changes in clients’ health or well-being.

Safety and Well-being:
– Ensure the safety and security of clients at all times.
– Monitor and report any hazards or issues related to the clients’ living environment.

Requirements

– Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
– Compassionate and patient demeanor.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to adapt to the individual needs and preferences of clients.
